angustonedog
I want to know what people prefer to play with. I am dedicated to my earnie balls. i typically use 9's but i am interested in their specialty set with a wound g string any thoughts?
EVOL!
Can you get a wound G in a gauge lighter than 11s? I have been using Gibson Vintage Reissues in 11 for over a decade and have zero desire to change that.

Not a fan of light top, heavy bottom. Makes me think of a girl with small breasts and huge butt. But, yeah, that wound G, not to mention the forth, fifth, and sixth sings, will be a lot wider than the skinny 9s your nut is cut for.

flyingarmadillo
Mine came from the factory with Brite Wire 10's (10-13-17-26-36-46) so you might be able to get away with the EB 10-50 set without too much adjusting on the nut.
