Replacing tuners ES 339

Sounds like your having the same problem everyone has experienced with Gibson. More than likely it's an improper cut nut that's causing the strings to bind. Usually there is nothing wrong with the tuners and always the nut when we're talking about tuning issues with Gibson guitars. If you have no experience with it, have a good luthier check it because you can really mess it up if you don't know what your doing.

My 339 custom came with grovers, I also have them on an sg that they came stock with, Id recomend them, the schallers dont look right, plus you have to drill a small hole.

My 339 came with the standard Klusons and virtually every other 339 I have seen have Klusons. How did your's get the grovers I wonder? I love Grovers -- it would definitely be a plus for the 339, but as the standard tuners on the 339 -- well, that's a mystery how that happened.
