Roosto7
Just bought a 1998 Broadway. Thinking of using T-I Swing 11's. Would that be enough or should I go to 12's? I like 11's, but the Broadway is a big jazz box.

Parabar
Depends on your playing style. If you bend strings much, .011's may be more comfortable. If you play in a more traditional jazz style (a la Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Joe Pass, Herb Ellis, et al) with more slides than bends, heavier strings may work better. And consider flatwounds as well. I'm currently using D'Adddario Chrome Flatwound .011's on my Korean Broadway and Gibson L-5 .011's on my Elitist Broadway. The L-5 strings bend easier and are brighter sounding, but I like the smoothness (and quiet fretting!) of the flatwounds too.
