brundaddy
I know most people nut up over 335s & how Gibson is making the 3/4 body version... Did they ever make a 3/4 body 135? Seems like it, but what do I know? I think I once saw a photo of Izzy Stradlin playing one, but the headstock was obscured so I can't say for certain. ****Sure would be nice if Gibson busted loose with production of something like it, a la Les Paul with Florentine cutaway and F-holes. brundaddy
I sure would buy one of Gibson still made em... the oldies are frustratingly rare sometimes.
pippy
Here is a link to another ES140T 3/4, this one's on ebay. It's the full body thickness version and it's interesting to compare this with the one ksdaddy found. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Gibson-ES-140-ES140-rare-3-4-125-175-Archtop-Guitar_W0QQitemZ350101942385QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350101942385&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A3%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 The only other 3/4 scale semi- I've been able to track down (although I'm sure there are more) was the ES125T 3/4 which was similar but had a non-cutaway body. No mention of a 3/4 135 yet, however.
