Dark fire

Thundergod

I like it a lot better than the robot standard, it has a good grain to it, and overall the asthetics aren't bad (better for a metalhead than someone like myself though) and I must admit I'm a sucker for a P-90 so I'm glad to see them slap one on there. Also I love the return to the L-5 style flowerpot inlay. Also glad to see Gibson picked up on the piezo pickup idea finally, although it was never a real selling point for me anyways. Another cool versatile guitar (much cheaper aswell) is the Italia mondial hollowbody, has that piezo idea and an odd acousti-glass top. Overall I'd like to play around with a darkfire, but it'd take a whole lot to get me to buy one. (They'd have to front me the money)

I'd have to try it out. I always hated electronic stuff with guitars (yes, this coming from a former NASA rocket scientist), until I played a Line 6 amp. Then I became a true believer in what electronics can do. So I'll keep my mind open on this, but I'm never selling my Les Pauls...
