Lefty Guy
Having recently sold my Moon dread & Martin HD28 I'm expecting delivery tomorrow of a 000 Moon which should complement my 2 Gibson slope dreads nicely (leaving me some decent change as well!). I've changed Jimmy's stock spec to match the Gibson scale & nut widths that I like. Here's the spec: MOON Model-0003 – LEFT HAND • Indian Rosewood back & sides • Alaskan Sitka Spruce soundboard • Mahogany neck • Ebony fingerboard • Ebony headplate • Ebony bridge • Abalone rosette – triple ring • White binding • Inner b/w/b purfling • Pearl fret markers • Tortoiseshell scratchplate • Grover V97 machine heads • Bone Nut & Saddle • Side dots • Tusq bridge pins • Width at nut: 1.725” • 24.75”Scale • Strings: Elixir .012 - .054 • Finish: Natural Gloss With Hiscox case
SlashPerryBurst
Sounds great. I've heard great things about Jimmy Moon and have often considered having him make me a guitar. Be sure to post pics when you get it.

Be sure to post pics when you get it. Jimmy makes an awesome guitar. My RD3 dread was wonderful but sadly I commissioned it when playing mainly fingerstyle so ordered a 46mm nut which I found very tough once I'd switched mainly to flatpicking/Bluegrass & as a high end custom build represented too much tied up cash to keep. I'm originally from Glasgow and he is very well known and respected. Perhaps some day I will be lucky enough to own my own moon built to my own specifications.
