Does anyone else not care about the olympics? (and overall sports)

My reasoning was that you can be physically unfit and stuff and still play poker. It involves some thinking (and some common sense!), but it's not a physical activity.

 

And you'll get kicked out of the NFL for doing shots on the field!

Poker shouldn't be classified as a sport. It's a game, but not a sport IMHO.

I like football and will watch baseball when the playoffs start. Outside of that, I don't pay much attention. I loathe basketball and racing, if you call that a sport. I do enjoy the Olympics. As far as playing, no. Bad vision, and barely enough hand - eye coordination to get a fork in my mouth.

Competition is the fuel of life.

Just got back from the U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, CA.

What some of those surfers were doing on their boards was incredible. Talk about walking on water.

Amazing.
