glennc
Hello, I due to a thread on this site, bought a TV Yellow Worn Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special I. Love the sound and a great price. I would like to either get a tailpiece to replace the compensated stopbar with an adjustable intonation tailpiece or possibly install a bridge and new stopbar. Any suggestions and opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance. Glenn
BigKahune
. You might try asking in the Epiphone forum - http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/forum/90-epiphone-electrics/ This one is made for Gibson Juniors and Melody Makers, should fit right on your existing studs/anchors - http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Electric_guitar,_non-trem_tailpieces/Adjustable_Wraparound_Bridge.html?tab=Details

John Rutherford
If you like the sound then keep the original tailpiece, the solid wraparound hunk of metal bridge is vital to the sound quality of these solid bodied guitars.

Hello John Rutherford, The problem I am having and as this is the first wrap around non-adjustable intonated tailpiece I've ever used, that it may be a normal feature, is that the strings are not staying spaced evenly. This and the other tuning issues/quality had me return the guitar and I'm going to get a Epi Vingtage G-400 SG with a regular bridge and stopbar. Thanks for your time!
