MissouriPicker
Looks like a real nice guitar, and for a decent price also. Looking-forward to hearing one.

Larry , here's Sal's little demo of the guitar : https://soundcloud.com/sal-from-chatham/new-2013-gibson-j-35-at-sam hope that helps a bit JC
tvguit
I played two at my local 5 star and they were both awesome. One was very balanced and put together, the other a little bass heavy and raw. I couldn't believe the asking price and I momentarily forgot about the whole vintage thing...
jt
I played one of these at my Seattle book release party a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. Sure, the Banner on a J-35 drives me crazy, but I'm an obsessive Bannerhead. The guitar is fantastic without regard to its price. Taking into account its price, imho it's a steal. I even chose the J-25 to play for the evening's closing jam:
J-1854Me
I even chose the J-25 to play for the evening's closing jam: John was so excited about this guitar, he missed typing the name by one digit. "J-35" = "Yes!" "J-25" = "no, not really"
Guth
One was very balanced and put together, the other a little bass heavy and raw Exactly why I always say that it all comes down to the individual guitar. Listening to Sal's clip, if I was in the market, I don't know that I would exactly be rushing out to try one. It sounded nice enough when strummed, but when he started picking out a few individual notes it kind of fell apart a bit.

jt
John was so excited about this guitar, he missed typing the name by one digit. "J-35" = "Yes!" "J-25" = "no, not really" I was only off by about 30%. That's pretty good for me.
