Hey all, hoping someone can help. I bought a 2nd hand Flying V from an authorised Gibson dealer in Adelaide South Australia. Unfortunatly it didn't come with any paper work. (the case smells really strongly of pot, might explain the lost paper work)It looks like a Karema ? The serial no. is 023270419. Thanks in advance

I'd like to see pictures of it...

Headstock, front, and back view

neck/fingerboard

Heeljoint(where the neck meets the body back/side view

body front and back view.

please list the full serial number, if possible, describe what the pickups sound like. and any other things you may have gotten with the instrument, case, certification, strings strap. anything really.

hopefully we'll be able to identify it.

The age of it was a help, thanks. Misspelt korina.

As I said in the other topic you opened, I doubt it is a Korina because those V's are Custom Shop made and the serial would have begun with CS. Also there shouldn't be any "made in usa" stamp on the back of the headstock.

Some pics would help a lot :)

The Worn Series.

These were kind of like the Faded Series.

But came in Worn Brown, Satin White, Ebony.

Also, Worn Ebony and White had three pickup option.
