Ordered an Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus in Black Cherry 8 months ago and still haven't received it!

How's it going everyone

 

I've been waiting for an Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus in Black Cherry for 8 months now.

 

I sold my Ernie Ball Silhouette Special to buy this so I've been without an electric guitar this whole time.

 

I'm about to go insane.

 

The original shipping estimate was 3 months which I hesitantly accepted.

 

Can anybody tell me what's going on.

 

Did Epiphone get an order for a million of these things or what?

That sounds horrendous....and with no electric to play!!

 

My advice would be to S E R I O U S L Y get on their case (however they are) as that sounds unacceptable.

 

Hope you have some better news ooh and good luck. Let us know ho this turn out.

When there's stuff like THIS out there, I wonder why more import LP aficionados (especially those who can't get the one they want) don't go that way. These are great guitars.

It is torture being without an electric guitar.

 

I have an acoustic but you really can't play aggressive with that.

 

I ordered it from a local music store and its paid in full.

 

Every couple months I have him check in with the Epiphone rep and he always emails back but the news is always the same " a month or two".

 

He got a tobacco sunburst Les Paul Tribute Plus in the other day and offered it to me but my heart is set on Black Cherry.

 

He also offered to loan me a Les Paul while I'm waiting.

 

I may take him up on the loaner.

 

The owner of the store is as frustrated as I am.

 

I guess I'll hang on a little longer.

I have that same guitar but before I bought it I had my local music store, an Epi dealer, call the Epiphone rep and see when they could get one in. They would not give a firm ship date so I ordered it from Musician's Friend and had it in a week. If I was in your position I'd ask for a refund and order it from a place that has one in stock.
