ultra pearl
My son is looking at buying this 2012 Gibson LP 50's tribute. The back of headstock, color of keystone tuners, bridge pickup ring and bride seem a little off. Do you think this is fake or not. Pictures are not the greatest. capmaster
Due to lack of resolution I can't be absolutely sure, but looking at the pic above and the one in the second topic you opened: http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/138737-picture-two/ - you could have sent another post into this topic, too - reveals no red flags to me. Megafrog
The pictures don't really show the guitar very well. I would look at the front of the headstock on that one as that will give a better indication. This being a 1950s tribute, I don't think that anyone is going to make a forgery of it as this is low end in the Gibson spectrum. Typically the Chibsons are made to look like standards and customs. I would encourage you to google ways to spot a fake Gibson.
Pinch
What Megafrog said. Why the suspicion, btw?
