zerobox94
I bought the Casino 6 days ago from my music store, and it is really great to play. But is there anything I can change to make my playing experience better? Oh and I am a huge Beatles fan.
zerobox94
Why don't you give her a chance for some weeks..... and decide then if updates are really necessary ? What amp do you use ? Peter I use a Line 6 Spider IV 15 watt amp.
zerobox94
Ok, then I'd save up for which amp?
Lord Summerisle
I bought the Casino 6 days ago from my music store' date=' and it is really great to play. But is there anything I can change to make my playing experience better? [/quote'] Yes. Change the strings. The strings that Epis are strung with new from the factory tend to be garbage. Stick a set of D'Addario 10s on there to replace the stock Epi 10s...and then just play away. Defer any other decisions until you've got to know the guitar properly. P.S. Good call on changing the knobs. They're usually garbage, too. Nothing annoys me more than "pirouetting" tone and volume knobs.
Casino4Life
you might want to think about replacing the tuners. I put Grover Rotomatics on mine, huge improvement

Anthony_JB
Vox has come out with very awesome affordable tube amps and hybrid tube amps. Like, the Valvereactor series. If money isn't an issue than go for broke and get yourself a Vox AC30.
Casino4Life
Grovers run anywhere between $50-
charlie brown
Save up, for a Fender Deluxe Reverb! Awesome amp (anyway), but especially with the Casino. Vox AC-15 or AC-30 (if need that kind of volume), would be great choices, too. Fender Twin Reverbs sound great, with the Casino, as well...but you may not need that kind of volume? Oh, and your Avatar is fine. Mine is enough different, that I don't think you need to change it, unless you want to. Your "Lennon" is in the studio...my "Lennon" is on the Roof! LOL! And...Welcome, to the "nuthouse!" Enjoy your stay... ;>) CB

Who's CB?[/quote']The Beatles never used Marshall amps that I'm aware of, and I read Beatles Gear cover-to-cover. They used Vox amps because they were free. When they had a choice, they generally used Fenders.
