Looks like Todd Rundgren put together an All-Star band and decided to re-create King Crimson‘s first classic album. If you listen to it, it’s spot on. I don’t know why we need an exact copy with a different singers voice. Lake killed it the first time. Wetton did a good job when he sang it live in the early to mid 70’s.

A few weeks ago, my cousin sent me an album by these guys and then a couple days later he sent me another one. I bought a few, and they are a bizarre band from Australia. No two albums even remotely sound the same. They do a bunch of limited edition vinyl on crazy and cool colors. They are playing only a few hours for me, but you can’t get tickets. Well you can but they are all resells for three times the price.

It’s like shipping anything else except it’s just going overseas, or maybe the next country over. Make sure it’s insured. Make sure it’s packed well, and make sure you’re using a reputable company to ship. Oh and it’s gonna cost a lot more.

GC is legendary for being the biggest POS music store in the USA. I go in there for strings and nothing else. Its hard to F up a pack of strings, but I feel GC could manage to do it.

The date and serial number do not make sense. According to your serial number the guitar should be make in 2000. The first and fifth number are the year (00), and it was stamped on the Julian date 327, or November 23rd.

Don’t forget Alex (Lerxst) Lifeson with the white double neck on Xanadu (no not the cheesy movie Olivia Newton-John did and ELO did some of the soundtrack for). Seen Rush play that live about 6 times. I think if I remember correctly, Alex Lifson had a white one, and a red one, and he gave the red one as a gift, or sold it to somebody I can’t remember which.

Of all the live Zep I’ve ever heard, they never impressed me live. I think because 1, Jimmy multi-tracked so many guitars on most songs and he then had to chose what part to play live, so it’s just not quite right, and 2 they just didn’t sound good live. I have the DVD, CD, and I have the album of TSRTS. I also have the live album How The West Was Won. Both are official Zep live albums. They’re both awful I can’t listen to them the sound is pathetic. Maybe back in 71 - 73 they hadn’t figured out live recordings. I’ve heard Grateful Dead shows that were cleaner.
