What can I say folks? It’s been a real fun NGDx4 this past week. Last Thursday (11/09/2023) I picked up 3 NGDs on the same day (Gretsch Falcon, Fender P-Bass & Fender Custom Shop Telecaster)…. Finally today I topped it off with an 1965 Epiphone Limited Edition John Lennon Casino….It will go perfect with my 1994 Peerless Cherry Sunburst Casino & my 2020 Worn Ebony Casino….

As a collectors piece, yup. If it’s a player grade guitar and it’s already used and worn in not so much (but it’s still a nice to have).

Say you have a serial number: 20023001 This would represent the manufacture date of Jan 2, 2023 batch 001. What does manufacture date mean? The date the guitar completed the building process? The date in which the headstock was stamped? The date in which the guitar first took form? Can someone elaborate? Thanks

It’s more for the feel and look. “Singing” comes down to the pickups..

Out of curiosity, is the Epiphone Worn Casino’s finish good enough for a luthier to spray just a thin coat of nitro over to make it feel like a higher quality guitar? Or would the luthier have to take off the satin finish & color, respray, then spray nitro over?

I’d love a 70’s Wine Red Hummingbird. That color is beautiful. Otherwise, 70’s Norlin Era Gibson Acoustics are meh…. So….Where are the pics? I remember someone sayin’, pics or it didn’t happen every time I get a new guitar….

Wouldn’t mind a ML J-200. But to be honest, my 2009 J-200 Standard has a way better flamed back than these ones….

Good that he documents Gibson guitars the most, so we can see the case candy and stuff on camera.

I know it’s a stretch. Hoping to find a retail store that hasn’t sold theirs yet and purchase off them for MSRP. Would like a backup. I got a Gretsch Falcon coming soon. Want to complete my guitar collection before the year ends. I still have to get a 52 Tele Relic Custom Shop and P Bass by December. Life is good.

These guys wrote the Friends theme song and apparently they are both playing Gibsons. Can anyone name the natural model with the volume and tone knobs? The headstock is wrong and so is the cursive “Gibson” name. I wouldn’t have known it was a Gibson until I zoomed in on the name.

I’ve been scouring everywhere to find a backup for my NG-355 at MSRP on the internet to no luck. Anyone know any local shops that may have one available at MSRP? Let me know. Thx.

Even with a microfiber cloth, depending on your finish, you can still get light swirl marks. I know cos my Ebony Elvis Dove everything is apparent.

She probably will. But it’s a nice looking guitar so it’s all good. You’ll probably have her beat in the skills department. She only knows a few cowboy chords if that.

I’d have to see it in person. I liked the “Viper Blue” Hummingbird color.

Wonder if she’ll scold you for taking selfies with it?
