  1. Welcome to our little slice of heaven.
  2. That's exactly the deal. I've been working on my groove and want to lay down some loops, but you have to be dead on. Plus figuring out the functionality of the unit. Half an hour a day should get me there soon.
  3. Boss Loopstation Finals. Nice. That was tastily done. Took a while to develop, but these things always do. Second place.😀
  4. Yeah, I picked up a TC Electronics Ditto Looper X2 today. It takes some getting used to and I'm sure the more I use it, the better I'll get. So anybody got one? What do you think about it? Thanks
  5. Oh yeah, the wine thing. Wife and I are wine aficionados. Fine wine Fridays are mandatory around here. Cheers.
  6. So what sort of hobbies do you have? I collect baseball and other sports related cards. Mostly baseball, but I have basketball and football in my collection too. I used to do shows, but those seem to have become not so popular anymore. It was once a good way to make an easy $500.00 on the weekend. It was also through these shows that I began collecting autographs too. I think I'm most proud of my Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan, and Derek Jeter baseball card collections and my Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant basketball collections.
  7. We finally got a break from the rain (California) I BBQ's up some Tri-tip. The neighbors were all worked up over the smell of BBQ tonight.
  8. Yeah, I love that song. Been playing variations of that for some time now. Fogerty's initial discovery of the E7 main chord actually started as a lose jam at a gig. When CCR went to record it, Fogerty switched from Rickenbacker to a Gibson ES-175 (right in my wheelhouse). Here's the story behind the song. It's a great article. http://sites.google.com/site/theelectricbayou/songs/born-on-the-bayou
  9. This one, right here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g89EjA-65I
  10. This one. Love the rhythm pattern with the D, Dsus2 pattern. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaKOYlKyqvc
  11. If you look on Craigslist you might score a guitar with one for around $500.00.
  12. That's a nice color. From the Peerless Production run, I have seen silver, gold and burgundy sparkle. Black, Turquoise, and Orange. Haven't seen too many other colors although I know there's red and sunburst out there. I must say, I enjoy the tremolo bar on mine.
  13. Those are nice guitars Jason. What do you like about them?
  14. I like that black. Looks fantastic. Here's my Turquoise. Just love these guitars. If I had the extra cash, I'd make an offer. Maybe I'll send you a PM.
  15. I was wondering who here owns a 90s Sorrento? Tell us about it. What do you like about it? What color? Bigsby or no Bigsby? Would you sell it? I forgot to say, mine is turquoise with a bigsby and I won’t ever sell it. I like the slim neck and the tone of the P90s.
  16. Barbecued Tri-tip, Santa Maria style of course. Oh yeah... pork tri-tip tonight. We'll have beef this weekend. Ranch style beans and salad. Going to be tasty.
  17. And of course, the worlds purest form of country music ever to drip from the lips of an ol' cowboy. Ray Wylie Hubbard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFP95gbqyOg
  18. Just a little ditty by James McMurtry, who Steven King claims is America's greatest writer. Small Town http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75hHRAcVofo
