Thanks for the info. Kidblast, it's Santo, not Santos. No biggie, I get that all the time. 😃 I was thinking the same thing about it always being that way... I never tapped on the neck before. As far as environment, it is always in my air conditioned or heated house (not in the basement), and almost always in the case.
Dave F. this is exactly what I am hoping for. I'll let you know when I hear back from my local Luthier.

I have a Michael Kelly Acoustic / Electric. I noticed some buzzing around the 5th fret. Took it to a Luthier to have it checked out, along with some bridge issues. He held the guitar up and tapped the back of the neck, and it rattled. He said the truss rod is loose, probably detached. Has anyone ever run into this before? Could it possibly just need a truss rod adjustment? Hoping he doesn't have to remove the fretboard to re-attach the truss rod. Could this be a manufacturing defect? Could the truss rod work that loose over three years? Could the truss rod actually break after never being touched, just sitting in the case 99.9% of the time?
Curious to see any comments, thanks.

I have tried to upload photos to the new format. At first, my attempts were unsuccessful because the file size was apparently too large (over 81kb). So I reduced the size using Preview on my iMac. I reduced the file size to approximately 16kb. In theory, the entire file should upload without any problems. However, the website will not allow me to upload the entire image (cutting off either the bottom or the headstock) and I wound up with a profile image that makes my ES-335 look like it’s either pregnant or the end result of a serious extended Ben & Jerry’s ice cream binge. 😖
If you cut off the Headstock, you'll be looking at an expensive repair. 😂

New look, new feature of being able to add pictures. Good, except it says my picture is too large, only 81.92kb allowed.

Oil and Acrylic Painting. Although I am way out of practice, spend more time playing guitar.

I don't remember my age at the time, maybe around 10. My birthday is December 2nd, so I asked my parents for a combination birthday Christmas gift of an electric guitar and an amplifier. They got me a cheap "Grandpa Pidgeons" guitar, probably around $40. and a Fender Pro-Reverb Amp. Nothing special, but enough to get started. I later saved for an Elektra Omega, then finally a Gibson Goldtop Deluxe LP. That is all gone and replaced with my current Gibson LP Classic Antique and Peavey Classic 50 VT Series amp.
But, my very first guitar was an unknown brand small acoustic that I paid $1.00 for from a friend down the street. I played Smoke on the Water on the 1st string only and the rest is history.

This morning My daughter and I made Bacon, Scrambled Eggs and Pancakes for my wife's 60th birthday. I was going to surprise her with breakfast in bed, but my daughter expanded it with her pancakes. Tonight we are going to an Italian restaurant for a pseudo surprise Birthday dinner.

Breakfast is now (3) Hard Boiled Eggs and about 4 oz. Orange Juice. My doctor told me to cut out carbs. so I don't have to give myself those pesky little pen injections and keep tabs on my Blood Sugar. Gotta get my A1C down by December 15th, or else...
Cutting down on coffee, because I add cream and sugar. Almost 100% cutting out sweets and soda. The good thing is I can eat more protein, so more meat...

BBQ Pork Steaks yesterday. Tonight, Home Made Tacos.

Just saw that too. I guess it's Gibson's way of make the LP even lighter. Looks nice. I would guess it's actually Semi-Hollow, like it says, not chambered.

I made Corned Beef and Cabbage with Red Potatoes yesterday, for dinner. I know, a little late, but my wife had a tooth pulled last Saturday and I waited a few days to cook this because she likes it so much.
Having leftovers for lunch today.

And here she is with SD Whole Lotta Humbuckers installed. They sound really nice and slightly compressed to really make the treble strings pop a bit more.
Nice, with the new Pick-ups. Hope it didn't take all of that time since August, 2015 to get it back from the shop.

That's a beauty you've got there. Anyone with a Classic Antique is more than welcome in this thread. That's what it's for.

Sure Duane, thanks. I rarely go to the Acoustic Forum, but I'll check it out after you move it.
