I'm writing a big notebook "what to do when I die" which is an inventory of everything I have that's valuable, approx how much it's worth, where it is, has it got a box/manual/extras etc.  And suggestions on how to dispose of all my assets, gear - anything that's valuable in any way.

I'm doing this room by room in my house.   Also listing all my accounts  and connections online and not - everyone who will need to be told about my demise.

To me this is a very positive thing to do.  I've been meaning to get around to it for years and am now (slowly) getting it done.  Much less to worry about for those who will have to sort it out.

However things will still be lost; I have a large collection of live tapes, nearly all on cassette - concerts I recorded and radio airshots etc, mostly jazz from the late 70s up to the early years of this century.   There's no-one to leave this archive to, so...what doesn't get sold (cassettes should sell) will  probably get binned along with all the CD-R copies.

Just in terms of the fantastic music I have seen and heard, my life has been incredible.  It may seem silly to be grateful for it all, but I am.  Music has made me happier than anything else in my life.

What a great idea,I'm also gonna do this.

This is apparently why politics is not a recommended topic for this Gibson discussion group.  How do you like this 2018 Songwriter Limited Edition 12-string I scored a few months ago?

How old are you now Jim? I just turned 67 April 22. With that Brain Tumor cancer I went through 30 years ago or so I feel more like 76 now. I can't even bend over to pick up something off the floor. I drop things and usually curse because I know I have to figure out a way to get it again. LOL  Then if your back goes out, It's worst yet! I'm getting Debbie trained so that if I drop something, she gets down to get it for me. Haha.

I'll be 58 May 29th. I sound like rice crispys with milk when I bend over. Snap, crackle ,and pop.

Man.. I been doing so little its frikken doing my head in now.. Its not like I get to see my friends or anyone. The negative of living alone during a time like this..

Generally my week  is Sunday go to my mums and put her bins out and d her pills (well I get her to do it so I don't touch anything).. Nothing then till Thursday which is the weekly shop for me and I do my mums shopping too. And that's pretty much it.. So so boring. Been over a month now.

HOWEVER. Today I did get one piece of news.. I have a new confirmed custom build to do. And its an interesting one too 🙂   And I am allowed to work officially as I work alone anyway and so can totally keep my distance. Only problem being that parts are going to be that much harder to get since many places are just closed right now.

So that will be fun.. Looking forward to keeping my mind busy again.

Cool,a custom build sounds very interesting, keep us in the loop.
