I've heard her music. Didn't much care for it.
I go to early Napalm Death for screaming.
Edit: How's that for a useless post.

I clicked or opened something I shouldn't have a couple of weeks ago. All of a sudden, I started getting a dozen spam emails and 3 or 4 spam phone calls a day.
I sure wish the FCC or FBI or someone would track down the culprits and take their computers away. It would seem it could be a nice way to train their Probies.
Ugh, all these e-mails... I used to at least open strange/unexpected e-mails, if not click on any links. These days, straight into the trash they go.

Not much humidity over here in the wintertime. Winter is not my season.

Work computers are great that way.
Always keep as much dubious browser history and as many cookies as possible for when you quit. It's a lot more satisfying that way.

I've always been curious how well hardshell cases protect guitars against low (and high, for you lucky enough not to live in s-hole Sweden) humidity.

No offense, but that looks like a textbook "don't click" link.

What kind of cracks? Replacing a bridge and doing a setup shouldn't be very expensive.

I'm still wondering what just about everything on the Gibson multitool is for.
And the old truss rod wrenches work better.

Yikes! How'd I miss this thread?

Sister Rosetta was awfully high up on the list. In all fairness, I haven't heard her play (I do know of her), but apparently she's better than most guitarists ever.
Well, what do I know. Maybe she is/was.

Led Zep boring? Have you heard Archilles Last Stand?
Okay, so I've only heard the two first albums or something. I'll repent and listen to some more of their stuff someday. Sorry for not lockstepping with what you "have" to like.
Deal?

Same, unless it was genre-specific.

We never need these lists. #1 is always, and will always be no matter what:
JIMI HENDRIX
Ha ha, so true. Every single time.

Hm, no Mustaine on the list? That won't sit well with him.
Also, odd to include Kerry King but not Jeff Hanneman. If anything, the latter should have been on the list.

I know you're supposed to revere Zeppelin... I just find them, well... boring.

He sucks. I hate RATM with a passion.

Questions:1. Since the strings angle down from the bridge I’m assuming the measurement should be from the center of the pole screw? (Since the measurements would differ from the edge of each pole screw since we are talking about measurements down to 64ths)
2. I’m assuming strings sizes matter, so if I’m using 10’s now I might need to raise the pickups ever so slightly when I go back to 9’s.
3. I watched a video where a luthier said that the strings should never touch the back of the bridge traveling down to the stop bar. Looking at mine I think every string except the G string touch the back edge of the bridge going down to the stop bar. I presume If this is notable enough to warrant fixing, I would need to raise the stop bar to decrease the angle and this get the string off the bridge?
1. Correct.
2. Incorrect. Think about it. Thicker string in the slots won't make the slots deeper. Well, maybe eventually, though I doubt it.
3- The jury will be out on that until the cows, and maybe even Mister Quackers, come home. I wouldn't raise the stopbar here, I know that much. You could lower the bridge if it bothers you. Don't think you have to do either.
The pickups appear to be set pretty high, esp. the bridge pickup, so lots of room for experimenting. Just remember to write down the starting points. 490s usually sound good to my ears in an SG, and from that pic alone I can tell you can adjust things quite a bit.
It's New Gibson Syndrome. Take a deep breath. It's gonna be fine.

Even car builders are using it, like clearcoating over rust on old classic cars. Builders and contractors are big into it also.

I don't recall. I don't think so. I listened to a few random songs and decided that was probably enough.
