BigKahune
. Last September I posted about Guild's hollowbody comeback with the American made T-500 and Starfire VI (MSRP $4999) - http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/91397-coming-soon-new-guild-hollowbody-t-500/page__p__1251818__hl__guild__fromsearch__1#entry1251818 Now Guild has three guitars in an American made series - American Patriarch Series - in the high-end price range. . . There's also eight guitars in the imported (maybe S.Korea) Newark Street Collection - MSRP $1299 to $1699. Here's a couple NAMM 2013 videos - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJZDINbh9sM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhp-Os4XYvU

jimmyl51
I have quite a few old Guild jazz guitars............frankly they beat the heck out of most Gibsons..........the price point for say a new Guild A-150 at $1000 beats any Gibson out there..........Gibson refuses to acknowledge other guitar manufacturers out there such as Guild these days...........BIG mistake..........jim in Maine
Jayyj
The dealer I work for has ordered all of the Korean models - looking forward to seeing them. I had a Starfire II for a while, which was a lovely guitar.
