Rabs
yeah ive heard of her before... what an amazing life... she has the best of both worlds.. Musically famous and well known and respected in the industry yet can walk the streets and doesn't have the press looking at every part of her life... Cant ask for much better than that.. jaxson50
Back in the 60s and 70s she had many instructional books for bass and guitar published. I bought a bass and an amp in 68 and picked up her book, there were no pictures of her. I remember thinking, what a strange name for a guy! After getting to to know some of the people that worked with the "Crew" I was blown away by her talent even more. When Glen played the solo on Lineman for the County, he borrowed her Danelectric Baritone. When you listen to Zappa's classic "Freak Out" she's playing guitar and 12 string...and she was a pretty good jazz picker. Last I heard she had retired to Seattle.
