EVOL!
Had to jog my memory who this cat was. What a mega talent. How do you anchor a band that long without having the skills? RIP, Mr. Shaunghnessy.

L5Larry
I had the opportunity to see him play last month with the Doc Severinsen Orchestra, and didn't. I regretted not going the next day... now I really regret it!
jaxson50
Ed had a long resume, he played with George Shearing, Jack Teagarden, Benny Goodman, Billie Holiday, Mundel Lowell. When Buddy Rich left Count Baise he picked Ed as his replacement. Another interesting point of trivia, he was married to Ilene Woods, the original voice for Cinderella. Ed was the original drummer for the Muppets, and who was on guitar? Bucky Pizzarelli!
