sledge57
Saw this in a pawnshop today, they listed it as a Casino, I tried to tell him it wasn't but I couldn't tell him what it was. There was a label in the F hole but I didn't have my glasses and it was faded, guitar looked about 20 or more years old. Didn't get a pic so here's what I remember... Epiphone, Semi Hollow / Hollow body, frequensator tailpiece, humbuckers and a bolt on neck! Nice finish but the bolt on neck & price ($450) made me look away... vomer
It does sound like Midtowner's suggestion of an EA250 or EA255. What the wiki doesn't mention is that these were sometimes labelled as Casinos. Apologies if this post arrives late but my posts are being moderated. Parabar
Some of those 70's Matsumoku-built Epiphones actually said "Casino" or "Riviera" on the label, but they bore no resemblance to what we think of as those models. The EA-250 was at least an honest designation.
Nad
Maybe an EA-255 with the frequensator tailpiece. Pretty guitar. I like the headstock.
