Gibson pump polish

I love Gibson Pump Polish and use it on all my nitro finished instruments. It says it has a trace a amount of lacquer in it to nourish and seal the finish. For my poly finished guitars I use something without lacquer in it, like Dunlop #65.

Most all the pump polishes claim to have "petroleum distillates" as a main ingredient. I would have to reckon that with the Gibson's being Nitro that they would formulate a polish that would be OKAY with Nitro. If it works on Nitro, it should be fine to use on Poly for sure.

Remember, you clean a nitro or Conversion Varnish (Ric's) finish with Naptha and that REALLY smells like a solvent, cuz it is (aka lighter fluid)

That's what I think anywho.
