CoreyT Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 I really like the sound of this new 100/50 watt head, but I wished they also offered it in a lower wattage one too, and possibly a combo with a 1x12. Amp is not out quite yet, but they are taking orders from PRS dealers. I see that this high gain tone is pretty popular lately, it really just makes the drum and bass sound even worse to be frank. It's funny, how you can look at modern metal productions and a lot of the time since it sounds so clear they can make the guitar sound like complete **** with the bass. It's very difficult to get it right since professional recording equipment for the average metal band is starting to get that good and precise. I'm more into the raw thrash sound than compression.
