Buc McMaster
I used to enjoy discussing this and that about guitars.........tonewoods, saddle materials, machine heads, amplifiers, string choices.........I got in as deep as anyone. But I find myself falling back to the bottom line: playing and singing. It's the music we all strive for, once all the particulars of the instrument are set aside...........do something with it! And so I do. For the time being I'm glued to this little ukulele. Damn thing will almost fit in my pocket but it's so much more fun than my iPhone! And so I offer another Beatles tune. Those of you who were conscious in the early 60s and saw them on the Sullivan show understand......... You might notice the collection of Beatles plates on the wall in the background of this one. Yeah, I'm a fan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c27lVLfnPuU&feature=c4-overview&list=UU3tT5jzCvMj17IIpw3oVL9w
E-minor7
Harrison would have loved it - so do I. And look at that big fish coming in from the left on 2:11 - I swear it's dancing. . .
j45nick
Buc, I used to love it when you would sing with the hummingbird, but for some reason, that little uke really makes me smile when I hear you play and sing. Just waiting for you to do "While my Guitar Gently Weeps"........
E-minor7
Read ya, Nick - can I suggest "while this old uke gently weeps". A humble wish - but it would send me through the ceiling. . .
