new P'ups for a Dot

I had Seymour's Classic's put in my Dot, but also had all of the pots, switches, wiring, etc. done at the same time. Difference in sound was amazing. I did keep it stock for almost a year to be certain I wanted to make a change. Glad I made it.

Anyone change out the stock P'ups on their Dot? If so, what did you go with?

I've fitted a GFS Mean 90 at the neck and a Gibson 57 Classic at the bridge -

I replaced mine with Harpmaster Series PAF 57's...If I hadn't, I would have went in this direction... http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Pickups:_Guitar,_electric/Golden_Age_Humbuckers.html

Anyone ever try any TV Jones in one?

So,

It sounds like anyone that has one has no complaints. (Not trying to hijack the thread.)

Point is!!!:

Dot seems like a fantastic guitar.

I'm hoping to buy one soon.

Aggiejason....Good thread.

While I am sure that there are several guitars out there that are "equal", I have to say that for the money, quality you get, and overall versatility, I really don't think one can go wrong with buying a Dot. And if you're like me, it's a great modding platform.
