blindboygrunt
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271421143678 Is the action on this really as bad as it looks to me ?
BigKahune
. Hmmmm . . . Well, the shots I saw were of the end of the fretboard, so kind of hard to tell, but it does look high. And I noticed the saddle is on the low side, extremely low for the high E string. Seems something is off. .
62burst
Wow. Pic # 4 in the panel of photos below main photo: Not too often do you see the low E and A string visibly clear of the fret ends like that from that camera angle. The other offset photo (#3 below main photo) looking from the bass side: hopefully the truss rod is in good working order, and hasn't max'ed out. Glad to hear the seller says absolutely no issues/plays brilliantly.
MissouriPicker
Too me it looks pretty high. Looking at photos of my own guitars and (at least from that viewpoint) I'm sure my strings are set lower than that particular guitar. Like most situations, it would be best to actually have the guitar in your hands.
ParlourMan
Nope, ye's have it all wrong, this is the rarer than hen's teeth J-45 lap steel model, with rather low action for the speed sliders among us. A snip at twice the price....
