Not-Too-Late Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Anyone know the singer and Epi model being played?
buffalob Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Don't know the player but the Epi guitar is a Sheraton
Not-Too-Late Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 Don't know the player but the Epi guitar is a Sheraton At first glance i thought it was a Lucille, but I noticed no Lucille marking. It sure is one beautiful looking Epi.
buffalob Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 The Lucille has no F holes and the vari-tone switch. (same vari-tone switch as is on a Gibson Blueshawk if I am not mistaken)

Didn't notice that either. I was fixated on the black Epi and the first thought that came to mind was a Lucille. I sure would love to try one. I've changed my style to jazz. Changed out the strings on my Les Paul to flat wounds and with a plastic pick I can achieve that nice warm sound. Like I said, I would love to try out a Lucille. I'm heading out to the GC next Tues when my wife takes her piano lesson. Hoping they have one.
Scott Marlowe Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Bound f holes! Weren't we talking about a Riveria copy with bound f holes? I wonder if it was a relabled sheraton?
