Yes, sure worth the effort, i like how you still kinda feel/see the woodgrain through the lacquer AND get the shine! RevDavidLee Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 I'm kind of late to this party but hell yeah on the Happy NGD! I bought one of these 3 years ago also off my local craigslist for $400. These things sold new for $800 so when I contacted him I asked for proof the guitar was his - he still had the box it came in from Musicians Friend addressed to him so I bought it (came with gig bag but I have since purchased a hard case for it). I asked him why he was selling it so cheap & he stated he had lost his job and he needed to pay rent. That made me feel sorry for him so I told him if he got another job and wanted to buy it back I would sell it back to him for the same price however I never heard from him again.
