Cougar
So tell us...did you keep the (numerous) stickers on the back of the neck of your new Epi on or remove them? I thoughtlessly left them on my new EL00. So far. This thread brings up some good points though. Why leave them on? I guess one does identify where it was made, but doesn't the serial number do that too? There aren't any on the backs of my Masterbilts, and I think they look the better for it. So how's the glue on those things?
QuestionMark
I still haven't taken any of the three neck stickers off of my El-00. Not sure why. On another Epi of mine I did, but on yet another one I didn't. Not sure why! Jazzman Jeff aka QM
Tknight
I took 'em off my PR5E as soon as the GC 30 day return period had expired. BTW, naptha works great to remove residual goop.
kidblast
Nope.. I remove them all,, Immediately after I've decided it's sticking around and not getting shipped back (which has only happened once) I don't get why people leave them on, nor for that fact, the plastic sheet/film that is on some of the pickguards, (on for example, strats and teles.) I also remove the Pitchfork Emblem. once I peel them off, I stick them somewhere on the case. It's not that I don't like the emblem, just NOT on the pick guard please.. QuestionMark
I still think this posting string and the topic of Epi stickers being on or off is a hoot!
