blindboygrunt
Any you guys using reaper software ? am a novice so don't know what effects I should be adding to my recordings in the mix. just wanting to warm up the recording a little . doesn't help that these programmes use their own names for the effects . thanks
AnneS
Depends on what strings you're using and whether the bridge plate is chewed up any. Also factor in the color of your bridge pins and the relative weight of the tuners...😋 (In other words, I lack a clue.)

My friend use to say: "When you think it is right, cut it in half!" I use to like to hide behind some reverbs echo 70s style, but acoustic do sound better without it for solo tracks. I almost sound like I know what I'm talk in' about!   BluesKing777.

Another trick of discovery is to go through what you have been given, turn them all right up....100% .....then turn them right down to find if it is what you like.... (Record a guitar track to work with, first, and experiment. BluesKing777.
