E-minor7
Personally, I'd prefer Hummingbyrd. Hehe, , , I'm sure you as a Gene Clark fan would. .
J-1854Me
Yeah, but do you have any tr covers that say Hummungbird? Personally, I'd prefer Hummingbyrd. Ha! That would have to be a 12-string, I'd guess! Fryd
beforenightfalls
Hi guys, Although I didn't end up buying the bird, instead I bought a dove! I'm just after a bit of advice, this particular dove is a doves in flight 2004 custom model. It has standard grover tuners/machine heads rather than the fancier looking ones I see on every other doves in flight model. When you place a custom order with gibson am I right in assuming you can choose your tuners? So the person who originally purchased it opted for standard tuners/machine heads? I am yet to see the dove in the flesh as I live pretty remote so will have to arrange shipping. Photos attached. Thanks.
onewilyfool
Did you notice that the label had the name "DUVE" mis-typed?
62burst
Did you notice that the label had the name "DUVE" mis-typed? No, but you got me on a "made'ja look". There is a lot going on with the visual impact of that guitar, but a typo on the label isn't part of all of that. And, I would be fine with Hummungbird. Congrats on the DIF, B4. Pittgibson45
Did you notice that the label had the name "DUVE" mis-typed? Ha! That would be great, if he found that he should take it as a sign to give up and get something you can't misspell. Maybe something with no more than one letter, J 35 maybe???
