Matt4356
I'm sure I read somewhere that the Union Jack vine is smaller because it's a copy of the early 90s reissues, can't find where I read that now though...... I saw your one on ebay earlier, your only up the road from me.

I would guess it's ultimately modeled after the elongated 63-69 Sherrys.
Matt4356
I just looked at the epiphone wiki page and the Nashville sheraton from 93-94 has a small vine, they only made 250 of these and it is guessed that Noel's were these, I guess they put this vine on the current Union Jack as a nod towards Noel's. burchster
The UJ Sheraton is really not a 62 reissue. I believe it was meant to be a tribute to Noel without actually endorsing him or having to pay him. Like the previous poster said it's like one of the Nashville reissues from the 90s. alienware
A nod to Noel for all except the correct wraparound paint job and correct vintage Raf red white and sky / man City blue colours, the new Union Jack is still a beautiful guitar thou, I got one just before Christmas
bobouz
The short & wide headstock correctly represents the original '62 model.
