I have opportunity of buying this guitar, in the link below you have pictures, it is a les paul custom from 1979,is it worth 2700 euros? Anybody have experience with this model? Even at these prices, they are advertised for long months, before the ad disappeares. I bought my '78 Recording for 1825 EUR (at current rate), in perfect, mint condition. Good luck... JM2112 Posted August 9, 2015 Share Posted August 9, 2015 The price seems a bit high for me, particularly since the pick ups are not original. A 79 Les Paul would have T-top pick ups, and the specs show it has the 490/498 which are more recent pick ups. T-top pick ups are just the most AWESOME sounding pick ups to be had, IMHO.
