tooloud
Went to Guitar Center to buy a 2016 SG Standard but played one of guitar centers '61 SG's I liked it better so I got that one. The coil splitters I like on the neck Pickup not on the bridge. set the action lower and set both pickups pretty low now it sounds great.
charlie brown
Good Choice, and better beveling, and horn tapering, than the 2016 Standard, as well! CB

High praise from me for dumping those pups down, which on many Gibby's, needs to be done to get that sweet spot and make the pups shine. Also, don't think I didn't notice that amp. Yea, I think you are getting your money's worth. I suspect it sounds real, real good.
