RobertAndersson
It's not only a gauge issue. I have been using EB 10-46 for a long time and being satisfied, never felt the need to change. But I use Elixir for my acoustics and some time ago I tried their 10-46 electric. I was really surprised, they felt stiff and unbendable, I had to change back. //Robert
SteveFord
I know what the OP is referring to - I had an 07 Classic that felt really stiff. It had really high frets so I had to buff and polish them down a bit and it took a good week of messing around with the truss rod to get it to play easily but I finally won the battle. Sdahe
Well guys.. I got the problem solved... All I did was to lift the tailpiece a little bit.. and tightened the truss rod a little bit too so I could get the neck straight... done.. The strings feel better now. Not to loose and not too hard. I guess it's about doing small adjustments until you find that perfect spot. Now I'm very happy with my Les Paul.. yesss
