btoth76
Hello. After releasing the LP Artisan-like Lee Malia, the 100th anniversary model, and the "1955" Les Paul, Epiphone released another nice guitar that appeals even to hard-core Gibson fans. The limited edition Custom PRO KOA: http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Les-Paul/Epiphone-Ltd-Ed-Les-Paul-Custom-PRO-KOA.aspx Also, they released some nice arch-tops: http://www.epiphone.com/MBCentury Note, it has ebony fretboard. Bence.
Mr. C.O. Jones
To me they are all more interesting than what I have seen of Gibson's 2017 models. Very nice, love that headstock on the arch-tops!
btoth76
Hello Marcos! To be honest, I feel a serious GAS for the Century De Luxe Classic model. I have been looking for an archtop guitar for so long. I just can't afford to spend 729 British Pounds on anything that is hobby-related now. Too bad, it's really exciting. Maybe, next year, if they will be offered in Hungary ever... it needs to be tried out. It's a new territory for me, very risky to jump on it without hands-on experience. Best wishes... merciful-evans
They look very appealing indeed. The archtop pic (Zenith?) looks like the discontinued Peerless 'Port Town' to me. I followed the link & looked at the site, but I didnt see where these are being made. Anyone know?
btoth76
I am quite sure these are all made in China. According to today's practice it would be noted otherwise. Bence. P.S.: No! they are made in Indonesia.
merciful-evans
We are used to Qingdao now. Its been what? 18 years now? We also know the factory is 'Epiphone'. Indonesia is an unknown. A third party builder presumably. They look the part and the Masterbilt moniker should = quality. As usual they only way to be sure is to play them guitars. I'll watch for them.
