Like a few others here I've not (yet?) been bitten by the Gretsch bug but that one would be hard to resist even just as a piece of Sculpture. Happy Valentine's Day, Rev! Out of curiosity did it come in the tweed case or is it just having a wee lie down on a Fender box after a hard day's playtime? Pip. Thank you Pippy! No case came with her. That's actually a generic Musicians Gear case I bought off of Musicians Friend hoping she would fit in there - but the body was too wide so I ordered the actual Gretsch case made for these guitars from Sweetwater. They had a "demo" case for $116 - normal price on these cases is $129. The reason I bought the guitar (not just it's looks which are drool worthy) was because they lowered the price from $699 to $599.
