NHTom
Looking for opinions...... I have a mid 80's J45 and a couple of the bridge pins are loose and one drops almost all the way in. I'd rather not get into a bridge replacement, etc and I see some places offer oversized bridge pins. Anyone have any experience with these? I have one pin that if I wrap a single layer of paper around it, it works fine, so I figure it won't take much to make it functional. Thanks, NHTom
Hall
Haven't used any oversized myself, but StewMac sells them I know. Are your's slotted, and if so have you tried just turning them around for a quick fix?
aliasphobias
I have built the pin holes up with super glue and it works like a charm. Next time you restring put a piece of masking tape inside to prevent drip through, work slow and just lightly coat the walls, route it out with a piece of sand paper on a stick whittled for the purpose.
