my husband has two epiphone guitars and wishes to sell them, however can't find value for them. both made in japan, 331949 serial #, FT570SB serial number.  any ideas on how to read this or find value. thanks so much.

Or even what model guitars.  In general, Epiphones aren't worth a lot (with a couple exceptions).

Those serial numbers don't jive with the Epiphone serial number decoder....

Epiphones have been built in several different countries, Japans build have usually been higher quality, but Japans early serial number tracking was not documented very well. Several of the early Japan Epiphones had different shaped Headstocks from what is currently being produced on similar models and these may have more value. The only way we can help is if you post pics to help identify them...

 FT570SB is actually the model of the guitar. Not sure of its value, but here is some info on it.

The other serial couldbe anything.  We would need to see pics of it to determine what model it is.
