generaldreedle Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 When they were discontinuing these I bought some packs, just because. Do people like them, dislike them, what Gibsons or types are they good for besides a J200? I have a Guild Maple Jumbo they'd probably be good for, any other suggestions? Quote
j45nick Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 The J200 strings were essentially the same as the Masterbuilt Premiums, with the addition of silk windings near the ball ends. I've used them on SJs and J-45s, and still have a few sets around. They are fine for any guitar that responds well to PB strings. Quote

kidblast Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 I put my last set I had on hand on my J200 about a month ago. I like masterbuilts, and these are the same cept the silk wrap. I have some masterbuilts right now on my taylor grand symphony, they sound just fine on that one too. Quote
