Im presuming are something like lockers but never seen anything like that... maybe this means that the guitar doesnt stay in tune? I don't think that means there was any tuning problem with the guitar though. You might be able to take them off and use the tuners without them, but don't lose them as they don't make those any more and you'll never find a replacement!
