Just a heads-up for anyone interested in a vintage Epiphone from the days when they were still an American-made tier one guitar.

The Twelfth Fret music store here in Toronto has one for sale and it can be seen in their "Just in" section.

Nice looking Epi but ....the price is a tad over the moon .

I have no idea if this is a good price or not, but keep in mind that the price quoted is in Canadian dollars and includes a consignment mark-up for the store. I have no horse in this race and only brought it up here for people who might be interested.

The nut width combined with the skinny neck makes a '66 a no starter for me.  I am presently waiting on a 1962 Frontier which is one of two guitars which is supposed to make an appearance whenever they get back from the shop.  I believe in the case of the Epi the problem is a laminate bridge plate which had split .
