GregD72
I've been out testing the Murphy Lab guitars that local dealers have, looking for that one that is "just right" have played some amazing guitars but none have jumped out at me yet. I'm really liking the R0 and R9 light aged versions, but for this $$ it has to be a guitar I cannot live without so the quest continues. merciful-evans
That's just exactly the only true way to do it. Good luck & enjoy the quest. Don't forget to check in when you find it too.
Sgt. Pepper
Save money and buy a nice Standard. Once you get one, I'll drag it behind my car on a rope, for a mile or so, for you for free.

I have a 50's and a 60's Standard now, though about just working on them, but the other option is finding a great R9 and sending it to Historic Makeover.
