Band Names: Not many left?

Humorist Dave Berry used to often bring up commonplace and arcane phrases and as an aside claim them as "good name for a rock band!"  

Like for instance, he might consider the politically inspired "Slippery Slope" as one.

You know, Dave played in a few bands. The TV show "Dave's World" which was based on Dave Berry, opened with the camera panning a room. There is a white Gibson Les Paul in the shot.

I remember that show.  And Barry, along with  Stephan King, Roy Blount Jr., Amy tan, Mitch Albom and other noted authors formed a band called The Rock Bottom remainders.

I learned the hard way.. (see my earlier Cease & Desist Post) If you think you got a great original name, think again, check YouTube.. 

Slippery Slope has been done at least once, probably more, here’s one Group from 2010…..
