L Wiseman
nut is loose and not glued from the factory. Is that a problem?
MorristownSal
It happens. Not serious. Use a dab of Elmer’s? Just a dab…
egoidealmusic
I do just the smallest drop of super glue, but as Sal said, it happens.
E-minor7
Wouldn't recommend super-glue - too strong if somebody should wanna change the nut further up the road. Could cause damage and not really necessary. Go for 2 modest drops of normal stuff, , , or some classic bubble gum.
Sgt. Pepper
Hide Glue?
egoidealmusic
E-minor I use just the smallest amount on the front side in the middle against the end grain--have never had any issue when removing for adjustments, etc. But that's just me. 🙂
fortyearspickn
Loose nut? Get a smaller size boxers.
Sgt. Pepper
Super Glue + Guitar = Disaster. Use a small drop of wood or Elmers Glue. Small. It makes it easier to get off if/when you ever want/need to replace it.
