Rabs
Nice... I really like that. If I were in the market for a new guitar id be very very interested. Love the black binding. Theres a 50s and 60s version at $2299 Les Paul Standard 60s Mahogany Top, Vintage Cherry | Gibson
Joe Dampt
The Les Paul Standard '60s with a mahogany top is definitely a standout! The black binding really adds a unique touch, especially with that vintage cherry finish. If you like the slimmer neck profile of the '60s models, this could be a great option for you. The tonal depth from the mahogany top is something special, especially for players who love that warm, rich Les Paul sound.  If you have the chance, it’s always a good idea to visit a local vintage guitar shop and test out similar models. You’ll get a better feel for the sound and playability, which can be hard to gauge just from photos.
sparquelito
I DO love that black binding as well! There was a Tele that turned my head a few seasons ago that had it as well. 2016 American Elite. 🙂  Edited Wednesday at 04:55 PM by sparquelito
duane v
I'm not a fan of black binding or the allen wrench holes on the bridge adjustment posts. Is the mahogany top one piece or two piece? Looking at the images it appears the top is two piece.... If so I'm not feeling that either. gearbasher
For the same price I would go with the '60s faded model.
