I just noticed the new Groove Tube 12AX7-C Gold Series has a sticker on it?

I looked again, and they all do....

They used to be "screened", eh?

I'm already mad at JJ's, after getting 2/5 bad ones.

Oh, sorry...

Is this off topic?

In fact I know for a fact that she likes Bob Evans Restaurant.

Back on topic, it's no wonder.

Stickers on tubes? :-

Yea Mick. Serious. I just got em' . My Boogie had a reverb problem, and the "new" JJ's I had bought for spares, were crap, and I fixed it with some NOS stuff I had, and ordered some spares from Musicians Friend, and they are "Gold Series" Groove tubes, 12AX-C, and they have a sticker on them.

Really.

Best of luck.

That crazy about the tubes Murph.

My fear, is the sticker having an effect on the tone.

Serious.

Can a tube be "balanced" with a sticker on it?

Just askin'....

Really....

Okay.....

Really.....

With all respect.

It's a preamp tube. They don't get very hot. I'm guessing Groove Tubes has done their homework, and all is well. I just found it odd, being a tube junkie for so long.
