saturn Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 You know, I was never a huge Green Day fan. I was a casual fan and liked most of their radio hits but never had any albums. My son got American Idiot when it came out and it wound up in my car. I was working in DC at the time and had about an hour-and-a-half commute every day and ended up listening to AI during the drive. I became addicted to that CD until it eventually wore out on me. I still pop it in every few months when I'm in the mood. They kept the vibe from AI and then added enough factors to give this new album a personality of its own. I was skeptical they would be able to follow AI but they have.
